Veronica Wiman (born 1975 in Sweden) is an independent curator. Her main interest is in the interdisciplinary exploration of art in social contexts, with projects addressing the expression of relationships and public spaces. After completing the De Appel - CTP program in Amsterdam in 2005, she was a curator in residence at ISCP in New York and NIFCA in Helsinki. Her curatorial projects include Civic Matters, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (2006); Radiodays, De Appel Foundation (2005); Pure Consciousness – On Kawara, Bequia (St Vincent and the Grenadines) (2006); Definitely Maybe, Istanbul (2003); ICI!, Nantes; Hale Tenger, Fusun Onur, Aydan Murtezaouglu, Lunds Konsthall, Sweden (2003), and Snownoise - Carsten Nicolai, Kaoshiung (2001). Veronica Wiman also worked as a exhibition co-ordinator for the 7th Istanbul Biennial in 2001. She lives in Stockholm.
